Description
PhantoMount X2 F550 2 Axis Gimbal
(Unassembled)

The PhantoMount X2 F550 Gimbal from Rc-Drones frame and mounting plate is made entirely of 1.5mm carbon fiber. Designed to work on many platforms this gimbal utilizes two HiTec 5245MG Digital Ball Bearing servos (not included) directly mounted to both the pitch and roll axis of the camera. This reduces overall weight, moving parts and greatly simplifies the design of the gimbal. Purchase the carbon fiber F450/550 Flamewheel Legs and raise your F550 3.25" off the ground allowing 1.5" of clearance between the bottom of this gimbal and ground.

Utilizing the Gimbal Stabilization built into the DJI Naza or Wookong flight controller you can directly power and control the gimbal. No additional expensive stabilization controller is needed.

Installation onto your DJI F550 is easy too. Attach the legs to the forward and rear two arms, mount the gimbal to the bottom of your DJI F550 with the included hardware and connect to your flight controller. Set up and tune the gimbal in the DJI Assistant Software and film where you fly!

We recommend that you power your PhantoMount X2 gimbal servos through a 6v BEC harness. This will provide smoother reaction and cleaner videos.

The X2 version of the PhantoMount gimbals is intended for aerial photography with the GoPro camera out of its case. For FPV flight or if you want to have your camera in its protective case then the PhantoMounts X2 Wide gimbal is more for you.
